Well, fall is finally here, and we are slowly cooling off some. We can be thankful for the nice rain we just enjoyed.
The annual meeting will be held this Sunday Oct 9th, Pot luck lunch at 2 PM with the meeting to follow.
The pig roast this year was again a big success. We netted $8019.74, this was a record year for the pig roast.
Treasurers, report: $18,178.76 in checking and $4,243.15in the scholarship fund, for a total of $22,421.91. This seems like a large amount, however, we are wanting and needing to re-side the building, and there are a few issues that have come up. The electrical entrance needs to be replaced, and we would like to do the soffits and facia with metal, to keep future maintenance to a minimum. Tax-deductible donations would be greatly appreciated as the estimate for siding was $12,000. And we would expect that electrical and metal trim would be close to $7,000.
2022 dues are still due and can now be paid via pay pal, or snail-mail.
