WHITEBIRD ANNUAL MEETING!

MINUTES OF ANNUAL MEETING - October 13, 2021
The annual meeting of the Whitebird Community Center was called to order at 3:10 PM By President Bruce Kelley. Bruce welcomed those present, and thanked everyone for a real good lunch.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read, and motion to accept by Mary, and seconded by Deb. Motion carried.
Treasurer report: Checking $13,746.35and Scholarship fund $3,337.85 for a total of17,084.20. Motion to accept by Jerry, seconded by Kevin, motion carried.
Old business: The pavilion doors were discussed, decided to table,. The sign for the School house was discussed, Jenny to check on it. if they could laser cut one. Bill still working on the water test.
Committee reports:
New business: Bill reported that the pig roast went well took in 6,486.25..
New people at the pig roast. Probably new members Hattie was asked if she wanted to help with news letter, she agreed to help. Thanks to Annie for singing patriotic songs.
Talked about painting or siding the building. Need estimates. Motion by Jerry to get bids residing. Second By Mary. Motion Passed. Joel, Mel, Kevin. etc for bids.
Annie would like to have a Christmas party
New Years Eve party will be tried again this year, Bill will send out a notice.
We will try bingo again Saturday evenings.
Bill thanked Bruce for yard work.
Bill to send out Thank you card for the Pig roast donations.
The slide got fixed and set up for the pig roast.
Mark announced a goat cook off to be held Oct 9th at 4:00 Paul made sure to announce that that is PM.
Kevin offered to build a bench for the playground.
Sick call: Sylvia is not doing real good staying home to avoid Covid.
Election of Directors: Nominations current members and Annie. Geoff Withdrew. Motion to close nominations by Mary second by Mark. Motion second by Mark, secretary to cast one unanimous ballot carried.
Meeting adjourned at 3:56 pm.
Board Meeting followed: Board members present, Bruce, Bill, Jenny Jerry, and Annie. Officers to remain the same, Bruce president, Bill Sec- treas., Jerry Nye vice pres. Annie assistant sec/treas. Need to get bids on siding. Replace water heater. Spring clean-up day needed.
