It is that time of year again. It is hard to believe that summer is coming
to an end. Our annual meeting will be held Sunday October 12th. Pot
luck lunch will be served at about 2PM and the meeting will follow as usual.
Please try to attend, and bring friends.
The Bingo and Game nights have been a lot of fun, and
we will plan to start them up again. The
new outhouses are usable, so you won’t have freeze you’re tooshie off this
winter. We will decide on a schedule for game nights at the annual meeting, so
if you want some input as to the night and time, please plan to attend the
meeting.
We need to talk about things like Halloween,
Christmas, and New Years Eve etc. Again I would love to see us keep the place
busy, but I need help with keeping these things going. If you are able and have time, I would love
to have some help with these events.
ON-GOING
PROJECTS
All of the windows have been replaced. We still need to finish the outside siding on
the kitchen window. The kitchen remodel is done, and the outhouses are all done
except for the taping and painting inside.
I think that you will like the convenience of these new outhouses. We
were able to use them at the pig roast, but they were not completely
finished. We will have them heated and
ready to go for the meeting, and game nights.
MEMORIAL FUNDS
We lost another great friend and neighbor. Joy Campbell left us this summer; a real nice
service was held at the Community Center. A memorial fund is in place, and
again, all donations will be placed in the scholarship fund unless otherwise
specified. Please see the treasurer
report.
